The Internal Affairs Bureau is at the heart of Towers Collective, focused on fostering a strong, cohesive, and engaged membership community. This department ensures that every member feels valued and empowered, creating a positive and supportive culture within the organization. Led by the Chief Membership Officer (CMO-Membership), Vice President of Internal, and Director of Internal, the Internal Affairs Bureau is essential in recruitment, member engagement, and organizational development.

Mission:

Our mission is to cultivate an inclusive, engaged, and motivated community within Towers Collective. By prioritizing recruitment, internal communications, and member development, the Internal Affairs Bureau helps maintain the organizational culture and ensures that all members have the support and resources they need to succeed.

Key Roles

Chief Membership Officer (CMO-Membership):

The CMO leads the charge in creating and nurturing a thriving internal community. This role involves overseeing the recruitment of new members, developing membership retention strategies, and ensuring that members feel engaged and supported. The CMO is also responsible for creating leadership opportunities within the organization and supporting member development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading recruitment efforts and managing the onboarding process for new members.

  • Developing strategies to retain members and ensure their satisfaction.

  • Creating leadership development programs and opportunities for growth.

  • Organizing regular member feedback sessions to improve organizational culture.

Vice President of Internal:

The Vice President of Internal works closely with the CMO-Membership to maintain a positive and welcoming internal environment. This role is focused on supporting member engagement through internal communication, conflict resolution, and team-building initiatives. The VP of Internal ensures that the internal dynamics of Towers Collective run smoothly and that all members feel valued.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating internal communication channels to keep members informed and connected.

  • Organizing team-building activities, events, and retreats to strengthen bonds within the organization.

  • Addressing conflicts or concerns among members and fostering a healthy work environment.

  • Supporting the CMO in implementing strategies to enhance member satisfaction.

Director of Internal:

The Director of Internal plays an integral role in maintaining the daily operations related to membership engagement and organizational culture. This role involves coordinating internal events, managing member relations, and helping to implement the leadership development strategies initiated by the CMO and VP of Internal.

Responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and coordinating internal events, such as social mixers and member appreciation events.

  • Managing member inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Supporting recruitment efforts and helping to integrate new members into the organization.

  • Assisting with conflict management and promoting a positive, collaborative environment.
